A. Actually they produce both seeds and spores! The sporophytes plant produces microspores which become pollen grains and megaspores that become megagametophytes or ovules. When the pollen grain fertilizes the ovule, a seed is produced.

A. In conifers (coniferophyta) the larches, bald cypress and metasequoia are deciduous In ginkgophyta there is only the one species Ginkgo biloba and it is deciduous.
