Q. 1. List the three main organs of a seed plant, and describe the functions of each one. 2. Identify the two main groups of seed plants, and explain what the name of each group means. Angiosperms and Gymnosperms 3.List the main subgroups of seed plants that make up the two groups you listed in Question 2 above. Angiosperms --> Magnoliophyta, Liliopsida Gymnosperms--> Ginkgophyta, Gnetophyta, Cycadophyta, and Pinophyta 4.Compare and contrast alternation of generations in ferns and seed plants. Fern gametophytes have prothalli, and they do not reproduce at all through seeds, so seeds vs. spores

A. 1.the organs include the leaf, stem, and root 2.Angiosperms are flowering plants. Angiosperms are the biggest group in the plant kingdom. They have true roots, stems, leaves and flowers. They also have seeds. The seeds are formed when an egg or ovule is fertilized by pollen in the ovary. The ovary is within a flower. The flower contains the male and/or female parts of the plant. Gymnosperm (Gymnospermae) is a group of spermatophyte seed-bearing plants with ovules on scales, which are usually arranged in cone-like structures 3.angiosperm- Ceratophyllaceae,Monocots ,Chloranthaceae,Magnoliid s,Eudicots, gymnosperm- Cycads,Conifers, Gnetophytes, Ginkgo
