Q. I have this spot on my heel that I thought was a splinter but someone recently told me it looks like a plantar wart. It hurts and throbs constantly and I didn't think that plantar warts were painful. It's a small circular patch on my heel that is about 4 cm in diameter and slightly indented. It's not discolored in any way. Does this sound like a typical plantar wart? I also have a small spot on my big toe.
